Evansville Community Church
First Service at 457 W. Main St.

Evansville Community Church Began in August of 1997 when Chris and Kris Ann Leonard were commissioned by Bethel Baptist Chruch of Janesville, to plant a church in Evansville, Wisconsin. We meet at the Leonard's house for one year and then began to have services at J.C. Mckenna Middle School. Our official launch was in October of 1998.

In June of 1999 we purchased the building at 457 W. Main St. The building was being used as a daycare so to help pay the bills, Small Wonders Christian Daycare was born. The daycare used the building during the week and we used it for the Church on Sundays.

This worked for us until June of 2006 when we realized that we had out-grown the building and began to make arrangments to move back to the auditorium at J.C. Mckenna Middle School, which is where we are meeting as of October 1st, 2006.
